A media group from eight (8) broadcast stations in Tacloban have banded together to form a PRAYER RALLY FOR DAVAO on Friday 16 September 2016 from 4pm to 6pm in unity with their brothers and sister in the south of the Philippines.
The community of media practitioners aims to gather communities, civic groups, government and private employees, NGOs, high school students, colleges and universities, fraternities and sororities, and residents from nearby municipalities to participate in a prayer walk around the city culminating with a mass at Sto. Nino Parish in honor of victims and survivors of the Davao City bombing.
The two-hour event will be covered live by majority of participating stations of the media group to express sympathy and solidarity with the people of Davao.
This show of support is a way of conveying the city’s sincere gratitude for contributions made by Dabaoueños days after Super Typhoon Yolanda battered the region, particularly the city of Tacloban.
